Paneer tikka pizza is most popularly available in Indian fast food restaurants. There are several variations like chicken tikka pizza, mushroom tikka pizza but I love this paneer pizza! This recipe makes four 8 inch pizzas or you can make two 12 inch pizzas.

Bake time : 15 - 16 minutes
Ingredients
For Pizza dough
- 1 cup warm water
- 2¼ tsp instant/active dry yeast(1 packet)
- 2 tsp sugar
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp garlic powder(optional)
- 2 Tbsp olive oil + more for coating
- 120g paneer cubes(small)
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- ½ onion, diced
- ½ cup yogurt
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
- ½ tsp garam masala/tandoori masala
- ½ tsp red chili powder/cayenne powder
- ¼ tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp kasuri methi(optional)
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- Shredded mozzarella cheese or pizza cheese
- Red chili flakes(optional)
Pizza dough
✽ Take warm water in a bowl/jar (do not use cold or hot water). Add sugar and yeast to warm water, mix and let it rest for 10 minutes to activate the yeast.
✽ In a mixing bowl, add flour, salt and garlic powder. Give it a mix. Add the activated yeast mixture to the flour. Combine together with a wooden spoon to form a shaggy dough. Transfer the dough on a lightly floured surface. Add olive oil, knead it for complete 5 minutes or until a smooth dough is formed. If using a stand mixer, mix the dough for 4 minutes on medium speed using a hook attachment.
✽ Place the dough in a greased bowl, coat the dough with oil as well. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour, until doubled in size.

Paneer marination
✽ In a bowl add yogurt, lemon juice, ginger and garlic paste, garam masala/tandoori masala, red chili powder, coriander powder, kasuri methi and salt. Mix it well and add paneer cubes, diced bell pepper and diced onion. Mix gently and keep it aside.
✽ Preheat the oven to 425℉/220℃.
✽ Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Sprinkle some cornmeal or semolina on to the parchment paper or pizza pan.
✽ Punch the proofed pizza dough, cut the dough into 4 equal portions using a knife or pizza cutter. Do not knead the dough now, just roll them slightly.
✽ Take one dough portion on a slightly floured surface and stretch into a 8 inch circle using fingers or rolling pin.
✽ Transfer the dough circle on to the parchment paper or pizza pan.
✽ Add 2 tbsp of pizza sauce and spread it.
✽ Add shredded mozzarella cheese or pizza cheese. Top it with marinated paneer cubes, bell peppers and onions. Add more cheese if you want. Sprinkle with red chili flakes(optional).
✽ Bake in preheated oven at 425℉/220℃ for 15 - 16 minutes.
✽ Slice and serve!
✽ Repeat the process with the remaining dough and ingredients.
Refrigerate or freeze the dough for later use. Bring to room temperature before using.
