Temperature : 300F/150C
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1¾ cup sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla essence/extract
- 2⁄3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder(optional)
- 1 cup melted butter
- ½ Tbsp milk
- 1 chopped chocolate bar or 4 oz chocolate chips (optional)
- Preheat oven to 300℉/150℃. Line a square or rectangular baking pan with parchment paper or just grease with oil.
- Beat eggs in a bowl at medium high speed for 3 minutes until fluffy or pale yellow, using an electric mixer or hand whisk.
- Add in sugar, vanilla and whisk for 1 minute.
- Fold in flour, cocoa powder, salt and cinnamon powder, mix gently using a spatula or spoon.
- Add melted butter, milk and mix gently until everything is well combined. Do not mix vigorously because the air incorporated by the eggs will be lost and results in flat brownies.
- Pour the batter in greased or parchment lined cake pan, tap the pan on a surface a few times so that the air bubbles inside the batter come up. Add chopped chocolate bar chunks in to the batter.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, a toothpick inserted must come clean.
- Slice and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
